Trail/Park Description:
There was a short letup after what seemed like forty days and nights of rain, so our small (but brave) party took off up the hill under overcast skies. We had only crested the first hill when the drizzle began. Thankfully it let up just long enough to enjoy lunch on a small but sharp outcrop of rocks which at least lifted us out of the muck. Prudence dictated getting back, and it wound up the be one of our shorter hikes. Still, we got in a few wildflower sightings and some exercise... mostly running for our cars.
