MT. BURDELL
Home

Park Description: The 1300' Mt Burdell dominates this 1600 acre grassy park which contains some of the oldest Oak and Bay trees in the area. Situated just North of Novato, it has some wonderful vistas of the bay looking south. The 20 or so miles of trails for the most part follow the contours for easy hiking. Since it's mostly open grasslands, summer days will be warm.

The park borders Olompali SHP, with access via the steep Mt. Burdell trail.

Directions: From 101 take the San Marin Dr./Atherton exit. Go west on San Marin for 2.2 miles and make a right on San Andreas. Parking is at the end, about a mile up.
