For your viewing pleasure, we have shots from the best of our hikes.
Western Wildflowers is a photographic trail guide of
wildflowers
seen in various San Francisco Bay Area parks during the seasons. For those wishing to
find a trail at a specific location and/or time of year with the greatest
possibility of seeing and identifying native wildflowers, please browse our
guide. We venture out with enthusiasts and experts weekly to try and find that elusive calypso orchid, rein
orchid, or more common trillium.
At
this time we mostly cover the Northern Bay Counties of Solano, Sonoma, Napa
and Marin and a few outlying areas.
Many of our hikes are to parks
that are either cheap or free. We don't think it should cost a lot
to enjoy the outdoors.
