WESTERN WILDFLOWERS
TRAIL GUIDE
Is a photographic trail guide of Wildflowers seen in San Francisco Bay Area parks during various seasons. For those wishing to find a trail at a specific location and/or time of year with the greatest possibility of seeing and identifying native wildflowers, please brows our guide. We regularly venture out with enthusiasts and experts and try to pick out the best ones to find that elusive calypso orchid, rein orchid, or more common trillium or pussy ears.

At this time we mostly cover the Northern Bay Counties of Solano, Sonoma, Napa and Marin.

Many of our hikes are to parks that are either cheap or free. We don't think it should cost a lot to enjoy the outdoors.

To use our guide: simply click on a park on the left. The Trail Links will be at the bottom of the park page that comes up.
If you have problems viewing the site: click here.

There is a handy "Plant Index" with pictures of all the flowers photographed on the lower left.

If you have a favorite site, hike, suggestion, correction, comment or problem, we'd appreciate hearing from you. Please contact us
