ROCKVILLE HILLS PARK
OUTSIDE LOOP

Trail Description: No need to escape the heat at this time of year, so nearby Rockville Park seemed like a prudent choice. I had picked the Outside Loop trail, as it afforded an expansive view of the lush Green Valley. Unfortunately heavy fog set in and we were lucky to view the nearby trees. Someone said it was suppose to lift by noon. Sure enough, by 1:30 when the hike was over and we were all frozen stiff,  the sun finally poked out. In spite of all this and few flowers, it was still good to get together after an absence of almost three weeks.
