LYNCH CANYON

Park Description: This is mostly an open grassland park bisected by two seasonal streams providing some riparian environments. There are a number of wildflowers as well as birds and some aquatic life in the Lynch reservoir. Good views are to be had from the top of North Ridge Trail.

Directions: The park is located about half way between Vallejo and Fairfield. From I-80 get off on American Canyon and take the McGary Road (running parallel to the freeway) east for about 1.5 miles. Turn left at the first underpass. The parking lot is through the fence at the end.  Map link
